Ah, you couldn't resist the lure of blue flare.

I'd be interested in seeing it with the typesetting when that's on too, just to see how that plays with the image.

haha! The lure of the lens flare was just too strong. At least it's an old-fashioned, hand-painted lens flare

I did also try a light-trail effect (like from the bikes in Akira), but I felt like the flare worked better.

The Ethernaut logo was designed by somebody else (actually it's just a font), I just did the layout and coloring. I'm not much of a typography guy, although I'm going to be doing a lot more of it at work in the future, so I guess I'll have to learn.

Shizo: the musician is a friend of mine (actually, he's directly responsible for my getting into making music because he paid for an art job in 1995 by mailing me an old 386 with a Sound Blaster in it). I think the top two tracks on his SoundCloud page will be on this album:
