I still get that warm and fuzzy feeling knowing people are still contributing to this forum and endlessly painting. _________________ "Remember, no matter how bad life gets, there's always beer..."

I just wanted to see if my account was still active. It is! And I even remembered my password after one failed attempt. |

zaar: I think there is some telepathic sense of nostalgia going on right now...
I'm not doing much art these days...I'm still in Sweden though, trying to get a Ph.D. in computer science / robotics. _________________ It's nice to be important, but more important to be nice - Scooter |

Heh, story of life...
I really want to get it up, and get a place to show off my photographic work. But there's always something more urgent. Like dishes or something. And I have to high ambitions too I guess.
Daniel: hello there! I always start missing the good ol forum days this time of year. I'm also trying to get back into drawing more again. I made this deal with my gf so I have two weeks to draw whatever and warm up, then she'll start giving me daily assignments and I'll set a clock to limit time and reduce performance anxiety.
It's funny that I sit here on sijun 2015, and live just 200 meters from where Henric showed me and john the forum on a break in school sometime 98/99. And feel like starting over the whole process of learning to draw and paint and doing it more seriously after wasting so much time doodling.
Btw, Daniel: it's been said before and by others. But what your field is like the new art. More interesting and innovate than anything on the art scene for centuries. Maybe not so much a medium for personal expression though. |

Can't believe I remembered my password after all these years...
Working in the field of IT nowadays, but still scribbling with inks and markers every now and then. |

This forum needs to live forever, just so people can come back occasionally and give it a hug. |
