Hey peeps, I dunno how cool it is too post a request like this on this section of the MB, but here goes:

I've been doing 3d graphics for a sci-fi online game for the past year.
Right now, we're looking for 2-3 more graphics artists who are interested in doing low-poly or high-poly models or texturing or animations for:

-player characters
-monsters
-landscape
-buildings
-items

The pace is relaxed and you can, 70% of the time, use your own ideas. That's because we're very flexible content-wise (like the way Half-Life designed the game using a "cabal" meeting and idea input system. We are a bunch of young amateur game makers who are spitting out Diablo quality graphics and gameplay.

This game is a great way to get started in the video game industry. You'll learn techniques for animation and model design. Sorry college grads (or drop-outs) we aren't offering any pay. This is a free online game made through spare time, much like a Quake or Unreal Mod.

Send him a link to your online portfolio or send a couple kb worth of your work (please, no 2 meg collection of BMPs... some of us have slow modems + slow email servers :P

I'm trying to fix that animated GIF... I dunno what happened during the upload to mess it up like that.
