Here's an in-progress painting I'm doing right now. It started out as a drawing and I decided to go further with it in PS..
The full size imaged is at http://www.perilith.com/~totally/randipainting1.jpg
The drawing is at http://www.perilith.com/~totally/randisketch1.jpg
The photo is at http://www.perilith.com/~totally/randilarge.jpg
Things that I see that need changing/touching up (besides the obvious incomplete parts):
Eye on the right side (her left eye) seems too far out from the nose... I'll want to move that. Also seems a tad too small
Shading on the nose is incomplete..
Additional shading to the right side (her left side)
Additional shading... to a whole lotta places...
The painting is done in lighter tones than the photo... I felt that the photo was darker than I'd like it to have been.
Any feedback is always welcomed... tell me what you see wrong or what you like or whatever

How about smileing? Why is everyone so depressed in the world? There is plenty to be happy about! |

Something about that jaw on the pictures left side. Seems kinda long? But that could balance out with the right eye, when you make it bigger. There is always another eye that could fit inbetween the eyes on a humans face generally. Her right eye looks to be good. Try using that as a gudie for where the next eye should be.
The ear kinda looks like were looking at it strait on. But she might have ears that stick out Changing the proportion on her ear might give some help too. Maybe not... Gota love photoshop layers
Keep it up... |

yea her face does look dirty right now... when i say "add more shading" i dont just mean make darker.. but create more tones and stuff too.. more color differentiation too.
As far as proportions go, take a look at the actual photo.. Im not saying you're wrong.. but ermn yea..you seem a tad... indecisive
Yea.. i think a lot of the "long face look" is due to the small eye.. a few transformations should fix that right up.
And yes.. photoshop layers rock
