All done on my iPad using Sketchbook Pro and a stylus.
Took me 3 different manufacturers of stylus before settling on a fave, Ive tried the Pogo Sketch, Dagi and my fave the Ozaki iFinger L.
images in order of creation, first 2 are of poor copies of Frazetta's work.
really good fun and I can see the appeal in the Cintiq range now. |

If they released one with a proper Wacom digitzer I'd be all over it.
How well does Sketchbook run on the ipad? Are you able to zoom and move around pretty quickly? _________________ brian.prince|light.comp.paint |

Yeah it would be nice if Wacom did but the iPad is a little competition for their Cintiq range which I'm assuming is why you'll never see one.
That said Ten One have been tinkering and have worked out a way to get pressure sensitivity on the iPad: http://tenonedesign.com/blog/pressure-sensitive-drawing-on-ipad/
Sketchbook runs amazingly smooth on the iPad, Brushes is also a great package its just my personal preference to use SBP (just like Painter Vs Photoshop I guess)
You'll have to excuse the quality of the images but they show actual size, 500% zoomed and the 1400% zoomed, I could have continued zooming in but I think it shows how you can get in a detail if you want to.
The zoom and move is the normal Apple ios approach of the 2 finger pinch and 2 finger swipes and Ive not experienced any lag or glitches. Yes it could use some tweeks and some changes but what doesnt when first released? It may not be for everyone but its perfect for me.

Good to know, thanks for the information.
I know Toshiba's coming out with a Windows slate before the end of the year that will have a Wacom in it ... will probably cost more than the iPad though.
I like my Toshiba convertible tablet but I'd like it more if it weighed half as much _________________ brian.prince|light.comp.paint |
