Most people (including myself) prefer my sketches to my more...fleshed out works. I've spent a lot of time studying gestures and sketching, but when trying to make a really finished piece I lose the energy of the original drawing, like in this one.

If there's anybody familiar with my predicament, I'd be ever so grateful for your input on the matter.
