Another matte painting, this time inspired by the masterpiece Blade Runner. The mood is so captivating in this film that I had to try and recreate a possible setting. The rain, the darkenss the fumes...Ridley Scott did it all perfect in this one.

damn andrea - very solid stuff - overall i really like it - i think you captured the moody-ness of the flick with it - sorry i cant give more of a crit but i'm at work - i'm sure someone else will chim in

The Blade Runner world was full of life, here I can barely notice the umbrellas far down.. Composition takes my eyes either to the dragon neon sign, or the lid object of the tunnel to the right, and to me there's no real story there. Adding a couple of characters doing something, and making them the main attraction of the image would make it more believable, imho. _________________ homepage:blog |
