Since dragons seem to be a bit of a flavour, here's one that I did a little bit ago. It's a take on a dragon from a comic called Creed (not the one from image) by a guy in Canada from memory. He has a nice style, worth a look if you can still get it.
I did the colour in this in two lunchtimes, so it's a little rough. Damn, the older I get the rougher my work gets
Any critiques ?

Thanks dude
Yeah, the light source is a bit over the place. Maybe if I revisit it ever ...
I've been compared to McFarlane before, maybe I spent too much time drawing Spawn, Doh I've been trying to change my style, but it's hard. I just like that clean but kinda fast/dynamic style, I suppose that's what I'm aiming for when I draw.
Maybe I'll post some of my old pics if we ever have a Drawing Spawn contest

Creed Is the greatest comic of all time. i have all of them. doubles of some (due to variant covers and autographs and such). Anyways, I looked at that picture and I was like "hey, that looks like creed" then I read what you wrote. So you obviously met your objective. Great job. Too bad the cartoon series feel through and Trent Kanuiga stopped creed. I dont even collect comics anymore; not since that tragic day. *weeps*

ohp! found something. I dont know if you realized this but the wing is like half-transparent, its kinda wierd. And it seems a little blurry around the fingers.

Yeah, Trent's the guy, he's a great artist. He had a really original style as well, very bold. I only picked up about 4 or so of his comics though, how long did it go for? I didn't know he had stopped as well, that is a shame Is there anywhere on the web that we can see his stuff that you know of?
Thanks for the compliment
I made the wing semi-transparent as I thought it would look cool if you could see his spikes and some stars through his wings (I dont think the stars are visible at this res though? ). I don't remember what the original Creed looked like especially, but I was just messing with it as it was my first attempt at colouring one of my inks in photoshop.

Nice linework. The coloring is a little bright, and the shading is kinda vague. Did you steal that background from AvP?

Thanks for the kind words guys.
Damn Tinusch, you caught me out I was just so inspired when I installed AVP that I had to draw this

I do tend to make my pictures bright when I colour them, I think I try to avoid covering up the lines. Maybe I need to get a bit tougher with myself. I've loved the stuff people are doing with Vortx's chick, lots of good ideas.
