hi! today I made this image. The model was built with good old lightwave and the final render passed through photoshop.
I'm not sure if it's too bright, I fear that my monitor settings are a little too dark...
thanks and bye!

Cool! Nice model!
Take this with a grain of salt as I'm not a 3d person:
I think the values of the background are alright, but the figure doesn't have any real dark shadows on her (other than the hair and cloth of course). It keeps her from settling into the space. Maybe if the strings' shadows on her were brought out a little more... Also, her skin looks very plastic-like. Perhaps that is preventing the right kind of shadows to occur? What if you added a less fuzzy cast shadow on the back wall?
She's a really great model, though. The exaggerated anatomy is fun yet maintains a certain elegance. |

very nice detailed model, I have been messing around with "brazil" rendering system and I think this model would work very well with GI... allso, the composition is a bit centered and weightless, there dosn't seem to be any motion going on, perhaps try to show diffrent tension on the diffrent wires instead of just straight lines make them into curves, and give them diffrent weights, as for the model I can't tell enough to judge it, but i do know I don't have anything more detailed in MY modeling library |

this was a choice... I disactivated all shadows. In fact was kinda of experiment... for making her out of space and time... but maybe it would look better with some shadows on.
thanks a lot for your opinion
bye
