Here is something ive ben working on in my spare time. this new art for my website, i'm revamping the look of my old website, the blades will be animated and will move when u press on a link. any ideas?

This is really cool. But will it take a long time to download when it is on your site? interfaces that take a long time to download can be anoying

Duncan thats true, and its something im well aware of. it's going to be a real chalange to have a smooth download whith that high detail.
On that subject does anyone know what a safe download size is?

Actually, a very safe download time for most pages would be around 30k for the WHOLE SITE!

but, since this is an artists site (not a search engine or a portal, or a news site) people might expect a heavier weight.

And yes, you will have some trouble with that much detail and animation..

He needs a portalside where you can klick on the "main side - attention, side is art and need some more download, dont be annoyed"
