I saw a post here a few days ago with some Tool fan art, and thought I would give it a spin. Sorry for the low resolution, but when I started this, I didn't really have hi-res in mind. Only the main figure is painted, the rest is comp work done with textures, lyrics, and Tool DVD captures from the video "Sober". (used WITHOUT permission, so hope they don't mind. ) I am fairly new to the digital painting thing, and this is one of my first figures. I have a few more unrelated works/sketches I will try to post later. C&C welcome. Well, here it is:  |

Anthony J - I really like your interpretation. The pose reminds me of the Tool poster I have hanging on the wall in front of me:
Methinks the text distracts from the picture. It's not really necessary  |

ah well...i love not having the perfect image
anyways, thats totally frikkin crazy, i've never even seen that tool poster you have on your wall...and now i want it its badass! Puts my tool fanart to shame |
