XIA, sometypeof - thank you guys. :)
XIA - I love this latest picture from you. :)
I saw some of Remdrandts original prints today, my god those guys were awesome with copper-plates printing tecnique.
The excibit also contained a big original painting from Carl Larson. I know you like Carl Larson Spooge and this was a big painting covering a wall, pretty awesome.
Sorry no pic today, I have one but it sucks too much, especially when I saw all those prints and paintings today.
Ok enough of my rambling.
see you

And this then would be the groom although his face is far off. I should use a photo next time. About 30 min.

a thin drip of blood from his heart. usually i deal with blood with a violent spray, and usualy a drip like that. but for this, 2 years later, a slow unhealing wound was more fitting. yeah, i know its really dumb/cliche. oh well.
anyways, wassup, i absolutely love the lighting in that last one. you've quickly become one of the best posters on here. |

First post in forever.... that's what graduating, then going to work as a full-time designer does to you...
Glad to see so many familiar faces and so many of them improving so much.
Anyway, originally this was supposed to be for the Frozen Time thread, but ran out of time due to the CD layout. So this is just the rough painting. I might continue it eventually. But I've got to set it aside for now for some freelance jobs. Yipee.

Tons of great work, may this thread live forever.
Chthonic Divinity: love the style. Your characters are always so emotive (especially when there is blood spraying from them )
Wazzup: lighting, tone, color -> masterful (this page ... last page ... every other page).
Spooge: I bashfully admit... you are my hero! Amazing watercolors. There is something about the feel of traditional media that cant be replaced. Excellent work as always.
Vyle: wicked machinery.
Makes my morning checking this site. Please keep up the drawing, painting, sketching everyone. |
