Hey fellas! I've been busy with a million projects. I'm looking for thoughts on something. I'm bidding on a project where I'll have to complete two extremely high resolution, photographic style, images of the entrances to a new planned community. I have my usual rates, but since this is a different industry than that in which I usually work, I thought I'd see if anyone had some ideas on it. I was thinking a couple thousand each painting, treating it like I do other work(about 1 to 1.5 weeks work on each). Would that be considered low or high? Thanks guys! _________________ -Anthony

That sounds about right, given the amount of time you are predicting. Will these be large format (i.e. 24x36)? I would also spec an hourly rate for changes/additions, especially if it is a client you don't personally know or have not worked for. _________________ Francis Tsai

hi anthony, i'm new to this board and was fascinated by your architecural renderings. i'm studing design right now and my instructor told us about this subject and i'm hooked onto it. can i ask what medium do you use and how did you learn how to do it? i was thinking i should get lots of samples from magazines and start to practice from it. is that good? |
