from life, actually took a while, well, I was very careful with the drawing, so the painting went really fast. Funny how that happens.
Thanks for the compliments on clint. PS is the tool if you want to rip off drew. But a good reason why eludes me. I suppose this doug image owes a lot to drews process, but it does not look like his work. So I might poke around with it a bit more.

Top marks to Randis, Isric and Ceenda.
That Napoleonic chap is rather fine. Let's see the rest of him.
Here's a couple of things I knocked out last night/this morning. The timer dinged me out on the second one, hence the odd look of Grendel's mother. The overlayed birds and beasts totem image is my own work too btw.

Matthew, dig this little wood - excellent brushwork in there!
cake-eye, this distorted girl (chick35 - last page) is my favorite of yours. :)
Rhomb, the iceman's clothes looks great.
Here is another clown:

Nice one dougbot.
Spend the last two and half hours painting some faces in Painter Classic. No ref. used, though probably should have use some ref. for the girls shoulder on the redish background.

Some people on ConceptArt.org were asking about my process, so I did this piece really quick. That counts as a speed painting right

From mind in Photoshop 7, original size is about 3 times larger.

dougbot: nice work there
Fiend: two and a half hours, and you're worried about the shoulder? Those pics are excellent! Second from the top reminds me of Leonardo's characatures. The one below that is superb too.
Randis: I'm in awe.
Here's last night's effort from me. If Hecate threw a party, what would you wear?
