Has anyone seen the trailer for this new French Sci-Fi film coming out? It looks like it has pretty good animation and design, don't know about story, though.

Well, Enki Bilal is one of the Sci-Fi comic Gods, at least here in Europe. If the visuals of the movie are as his pages, expect from a lot of rusty dirty aged textures.
I love his work.

It's based on the Nikopol Trilogy. Buy the comic, it's cool. The story is a little plodding in parts, but it's got great concepts swirling around and fantastic art.
