Well, this is my first post here at sijun, and I'm looking for feedback and suggestions for this little picture I started working on yesterday. It's far from being complete, but now that I've got the general rendering in (though I haven't done the fairy's hands, or wings yet), I figured I would post it. Thanks!

this may be just a nitpick so early in the process, but the pose seems less intimate then i think you are going for . I would prefer to see her really embracing the "thing". maybe to see a little more of her face and get some emotion and mood going in the picture. so far i like your idea though.

Thanks for your reply - Well, she's actually hiding behind it, but only keeping one eye out so she can see what's going on. She's going to be embracing the creature, I just haven't drawn her hands in yet.

why dont she look at the dragon? an because of what does she open her eyes so wide?
