Wonderful!!! I would love to live there. The landscape in the Background, the trees and the water, everything fits together perfectly. Dude, if this was real, I would go there for sure. Great work Mr.FlushGarden! |

Please tell me you did this from a piece of photo ref or I'm walking out of my studio and blowing my brains out right now! Even with some killer reference, this is amazing but if you did it from your head I'll snap my Wacom over my knee. _________________ Smokey, this is not 'Nam this is bowling. There are rules. |

Frantic: photoshop 100%!
scull monkeys: well i started with blocking in silouettes of everything (like the early sketch) then its just up tp keeping the perspective as good as u can and paint the details.
Inspector lee: here are the ref images i used, i wanted this design but i changed some parts to make it look just a tad bit house-ish compared to this photo and i had an idea about buddha pictures carved into the rocks, but then Anthony found this image of a buddha holding his arms and it looked like he was splashing water, so i changed to that instead. i dont know what temple that is tho, might be this uber famous one hhaha!

Man, you did so much with that ref. The perspective is just beautiful, and the background rocks (no pun). The cool shady colors and peaceful "zen" feeling is so perfect for the subject matter. 12 on a scale of 1 to 10. _________________ Smokey, this is not 'Nam this is bowling. There are rules. |
