I pulled out a random sketchbook and scanned a few things.
Its all Pilot ink pen with some occasional Prismacolor pencils.
I never dated my sketchbooks but I could tell the date by the drawing of me in it.
Dont mind the stray lines. I was sketching with ink on paper so no erasing allowed.
What would happen if my Atari 400 cables couldnt bend.
An oil painting, ok not in the sketch book
You squeeze his nose and a horn sound comes out his... horns. The eyes are those clear plastic bubbles with a black ball inside.
Its me! With long hair and Pilot style silver wire frame glasses, a turtleneck jersey under a shirt. Sure smells like 1982 to me
I do love making Origami
Not so flashy but I like him anyway

the minimalistic approach of the atari400 sketch is pure genius.

Thanks, glad you like 'em.
eyewoo: I thought you might like that one.

insider: 45 but I know at least one guy here is older
Ranath: heh
I think you guys listed all my favorites too, although I would add the green guy with no arms (the heads needs reworking though).
These were really the only things in the sketchbook worth scanning. At the time I was doing a lot of game design, board / computer / paper rpg. So more than half of this book is filled with design notes. But it was hard to share with copies, since the format was 11"x14". So now all my design notes are on 8 1/2"x11" copier paper, no lines to get in the way. |
