Heya, i settled in Beijing.
Everything if fine except for 2 things: dust and chinese censored google.
If any of y'all coming over here then let me know (email, cause i dont check forums often - no i-net at home).
I'm going to university in September to learn Chinese. Im studying Chinese and Japanese at home right now.. it's fun! Later on im planning to do some kind of business here, either a design firm, or a shop selling jap. bikes (just because Chinese hate Japanese, so i take the path of most resistance, cause we likez it like dat.. aaaaight!).

Anyway, less talk and more action. Im going home to dig into books.

What kind of censored stuff were you trying to find? Typical stuff shouldn't be censored unless they were politically against the Chinese government in a very open manner. Otherwise, I didn't realy have problems. However, China tend to ban entire routers that contains stuff they don't like, so all other non-sensitive sites also get blocked in the process. That's when proxy sites come in handy.

i just stop by every now and then and scout through the threads started by names i know. although i venture to the other two sections, the discussion and finished work stuff maybe twice a year.

what have i been up to? well, it's finland, summer, and midsummer's day.. simply put, drunk for 2 weeks, then drink really super turbo hardcore for the weekend, somehow wake up breathing and go to work. that's about it. i can't attend any of the festivities (RMJ, DBTL, Provinssi, blabla) unfortunately because of work shit, but then again.. i'm not here to win. what i'm pissed about is missing a local KMFDM gig earlier this year. was too hungover/dead to move. i was hoping to see alice in chains this summer, with that new freaky vocalist of theirs, but...... what can you do when you can't.

in the throes of hangover i actually felt a strong surge of inspiration and even started painter and found my wacom but..

..luckily, my intentions were stopped by the simple fact that my hand was shaking too hard to actually click text links on forums, much less draw something. so i opted to fall asleep instead.

and that's about it.

however, midsummer's was awesome, hung out with a few of Byterapers people (c64 anyone?) and managed to get Purple Motion (Future Crew etc.) drunk. and then drank much. and that's about that.

(though i do have a shitload of stuff going through my head i could draw.. who knows. didn't think i'd end up in this.)
