Isn't the very idea of an encyclopaedia that it is supposed to be mind expanding?
These people are complete retards. |

Looks like they were a bit conservative with their cash when it came to hosting. I can't even get on the site. I am not worthy! |

Testament that the wiki concept - on both sides - cannot be entirely trusted or relied upon as a sound source of information. Valid perhaps but not sound and for reasons specific to subjective views and definitions. _________________ - Tom Carter

Ha ha.... this was discussed on another forum I visit. The topic starter was an Australian. he looked up Kangaroo. Below was the entry under Origin of the Kangaroo. I see it has been removed now, but it was there several weeks ago... bizzare...
Quote: |
Like all modern animals, modern kangaroos originated in the Middle East and are the descendants of the two founding members of the modern kangaroo baramin that were taken aboard Noah's Ark prior to the Great Flood. It has not yet been determined whether kangaroos form a holobarmin with the wallaby, tree-kangaroo, wallaroo, pademelon and quokka, or if all these species are in fact apobaraminic or polybaraminic.
After the Flood, kangaroos bred from the Ark passengers migrated to Australia. There is debate whether this migration happened over land -- as Australia was still for a time connected to the Middle East before the supercontinent of Pangea broke apart -- or if they rafted on mats of vegetation torn up by the receding flood waters. |
If you look up Kangaroo and go into the topic's history tab, you can find the original entry with the above text... or here's a link to the original text: http://www.conservapedia.com/index.php?title=Kangaroo&oldid=15828 ...see Origin at page bottom... _________________ HonePie.com

that's actually pretty interesting, I thought these conservatists denied such things as pangaea altogether.. and basically everything that would hint that the earth had been around for more than 6000 years.
Otherwise this is old news. I don't really think it's necessary to post here every website conservative christians have created.. their views sound ridiculous to us, yeah, but picking on that is getting really old |

I think conservapedia.com being an alternative to Wikipedia puts it into a different realm... At any rate, kangaroos floating across the ocean on vegetation mats torn from the earth by the receding flood waters after Noah's ark also puts the whole thing into a different realm -- humor.. _________________ HonePie.com

Godwin: I'd love to know what that means too, how strange...

Because you fill in the request form and the storks will do the rest. Who the hell needs vaginas or penises? |
