Heh. That smoke provides for some interesting atmosphere, no?
Your portrait shots are getting to be fantastic.
I especially like the contrasty floral shots.. Did you shine a strong light from behind through them, or did they just naturally look like that? |

these are beautiful jez!
I love the clouds and the...telephone bondage(?!)
The roses are nice too but another type of flower would've caught my eye more. |

Impaler - Mmm... smoke?
The flower shots are just taken outside in daylight. Often to get the solid white background I will hold them up in front of the sky. For the most part I just make sure to lay down something as a backdrop. Glad you like the shots.
Novacaptain - Thanks. Hehe... telephone bondage. I agree, roses aren't the most exciting flower around, but these had particularly gorgeous coloring, and they were very full.
Dom - For all these I used a Minolta Dimage 7. Its a 5.2 megapixel camera that I stole from my dad. *evil grin* |

zak - Well, a long time ago I took a beginner's level photography course but I wouldn't go so far as to say that is serious formal training
Most of the stuff I've done has been within the past 3 months or so, just experimentation.
Thank you |
