No speedy took a whole day, Culminating at getting pretty pissed off with myself for failing at achieving a critical structural integrity of gesture and dimension BEFORE all the values, atmospherics, rendering, form, light, mark making, edges, colour, texture. None of that stuff means shit without the structure. No excuses, and especially so in character work. Nothing a complete repaint wouldn't solve in other words :/
Andree: Obviously it goes without saying your work is pretty awesome, one thing i will say though is your first piece is far superior to the other two imo, its got a proper sense of dimension and uses less card tricks, that lends things to feel as though they sit in a 3D space. If you find that type of image quite difficult, keep doing it.

gousman-id like to take a desert drive with that.
raytoh-went to japan? nice place- but gets expensive! (i think when stuff doesnt look like dollars i throw it around like monopoly money) There is alot in that painting to view-love it
ZUPZUP-these are part acrylic? i think you manage to use black in a classy way, something impossible for me. dont know what this meens either.
some exploratory sketching, i picked up morrowind after a couple years and started drawing my character -

andree - beautiful stuff. have to disagree with T_England, I think the landscapes are stronger than the soldiers, but then I am a sucker for scifi landscapes, heh
gousman - fantastic designs!
still trying for characters/composition

Thanks Insane Lemur! Yes, these last few have an acrylic base that is basically just a few quick abstract strokes. They act as a springboard,
giving me shapes, values, and a color palette to work off of. _________________ WEBSITE |
