thanks mattyuk- those mountains are epic!
Was trying something drawing wise-and learning how to transform a crappy photo of a pencil drawing to make it neat in ps (scanner has been dead for awhile now), basically just selected the darkest part of the line and edit->stroke selection. then completed the drawing with the smudger based on that and filled in some parts.

lemur, you're on fire. I enjoy much of your last pieces like 20-30 ones You mentioned finding about finding shortcut about quick mask. Could you explain it to me? Funny I never used Quick mask and I use saved selection in alpha channel. Looks like more hassle in such way :p
matthew, your last ship pic is fuck awesome. For some reason your works remind me of "wild" apocalyptic sparth lol
farvus, nice minimal pic,
mattyuk, cool mountains. love rendition.
a pic for abstract theme.

Tomasis-thanks! the quickmask is just by pressing 'q' with the brush tool you draw with it and it is red, you can also erase it and smudge it (this is great for subtle gradation effects and textures, the gun flashes in this painting I'm posting are done this way) then you press Q again and it becomes a selection...so essentially it is drawing first then color, but instead of doing it by lines first you do it by clear shapes. Never used selections that much till recently, its nice to know how useful a tool they are! makes me wanna experiment with masking in traditional paint.
Mateja-I love the undersea enviros!
Got the image in my head and it had to be painted-

Quintus Dias- That photo deconstruction worked pretty well in my opinion. Looks sweet,I'd love to see some other ones with the same technique ! ( Same goes for sparth,of course...).
Yuk- Nice mood on these last ones ! .
Initzs- Been a while since I didn't see your stuff, really digging the new direction you're taking, specially on the second one .
tried out the picture deconstruction technique to get a different color mood than usual:
