They look very professional. What do you want to know exactly? |

Don't listen to my opinion too seriously, i dont know jack.
I love every single one of them, very bold and easy to remember except the Riki character. His red stripes confuse the eye compared to the other 4 guys.
If it was up to me i'd try and make the stripes of a much smoother shape and a little dimmer, i mean not as red as they are right now, so you can see the character first, then notice the stripes not the other way around.
If all the above sounds stupid, it probably is.
Also on the site, when you go to characters from the main page, you could do good by removing that "close window" script, i remember quite a few clients being scared shitless thinkin it somehow gonna close something they don't want closed. Give them the power, if they want it closed they'll close it.

I tend to agree with Plop's comments. The first thing you notice about Riki is the stripes, THEN the form of the character. Unfortunately, I can't think of any specific way to improve this. Study Tigger a bit, maybe?
One other thing that comes to mind that ALWAYS has room for improvement is the characters' posture. I'll point out Tonie as an example here... his bio describes him as mischevous, and while his general appearance fits this description, his posture doesn't reflect it as well as I think it could. I would picture him to be hunched over, peering over his shoulder... generally looking like he's concealing something. The way you portrayed him, while a bit more friendly, would suit any moogle or pikachu or what have you. If you strengthen the poses of each character, make the postures more unique, the characters themselves will be strengthened.
You may want to check out this article over at Gamasutra. Though it's written with the game developer in mind, it has some really good points about creating characters for ANY situation.

If you don't get to read the article, this picture is worth at least a few hundred words, if not more:
(NOTICE: THIS PIC ISN'T MINE, IT'S FROM THE ARTICLE)
Hope this helps a bit. |

thanx for all your opinion, yeah i agree that somed of the poses are kind of stale and weak, i only had a week and a half to put together the whole site and put those characters in their pose - but thanx a million for your comments.
