He wan an evil Sorcerer that used his satanic powers to withstand the bullets and poison. But his demonic strength was not powerful enough to save him from the freezing water.

Buttle you have a song for everything. And oddly enough i have heard that one.

More Russian HIstory:
January 22 1908 - Bloody Sunday.
500 killed, thoudands injured by Russian police and Cossacks under the command of Nicholas the second when they open fired from 15 yards away. Most of the dead were women and children. The throng of 200 thousand was ment to be friendly, so they could hand a patition to the Tsar to reduce working hours and such. Would you panic and shoot at them or would you hold out?

I just saw something on TV about maybe Rasputin didn't even drown, maybe he survived it all and lived on. This was conjecture and on a TV show (I think it was X-Files) however, not necessarily even close to true. I just thought it was cool. Does anybody know what show this was?

That could be possible and think Cherrios really helped him but.. i would think he died because they had a secret burial to burry him in a crner of the imperial park. It even says that Alexandra put a blessing letter on his chest and the family signed something and put it in there.
