like the pop art looks like a part from a comic book but is actually a stand alone so is this- it has no story around it.
opinion and critisism please...

looks cool, i like the detaisl on the swat jacket, but i noticed that his feet are not planted, not even one of them. so it looks like he is about to fall over.
The bullets also look a lil to pointy and flat..
I like the blood stains. But it seems like there is a red lightsource from behind him, but all i see is blood on the wall, is that what is reflecting off him? i don't get it |

Reminds me some scenes in Masamune Shirows Appleseed the manga... the comic (haven't seen the flic). Anyway, there is some SWAT action (but it's called ESWAT in that world). |

9 bullet casings falling, 3 shots fired, 3 bullets mid air, 4 holes in guys chest...
doesnt quite seem fluid does it?
anyways your pic is good.. you definately need to plant those feet down. looks like you tried to make him walking but the action of him firing doesnt seem to fit with the action of him walking.
too much unstability when walking while firing a gun.

yo peeps.
1st - 10x for replying everybody. :-)
bubonic- u r definatly right. i will fix the left foot so it looks planted.
H&K mp5-SD 5.56mm bullets do look like this. those r not too pointy. i've done my homework ;-) but they seem a bit too flat. probably the angle.
and there is a red light source on the wall behind him, it's just not it the frame. i guess that bothers.
vasuvius-i think proporsions r fine. it may seem like the head is a bit too big cuz of the goggles but it supposed to be fine - legs are 4.20 heads and body 2.8 heads. it's close enough... :-)
SPike.CoM-
what is that Masamune Shirows comic or flic? haven't heard of it but i would MOST definatly like to see it. if anyone can give MORE details about this one than please tell me!! i wanna see it if it regards swats and sh%T.
Awetopsy - u r also right - should plant a foot there. however my mistake was that at first my prespective was more of an eye on ground level so the feet where fine there but when i moved the POV higher i should have adjusted the feet accordingly. my boo boo
keep it comming

Looks cool overall, but I agree with the other comments. The foot should definitely be planted as most people try not to shoot while moving(except for Israeli special forces).
BTW, if you had done your homework very well, you would know that an MP-5 SD shoot 9 millimeter bullets, not 5.56s. |

S*&T. F&@#ing SH$T! u R right man! it is 9mm. i can't believe it! how could i mistook that...
oh. i remember how i got that wrong. i guess i got some papers messed up.
thanks man.
how embarresing ... :-)
about the israeli spec ops - they also prefer proning while shooting. even when i go to shootouts and use with M16 or an UZI smg (im in the army btw) i stand or prone and don't walk, but when u gotta go u gotta go. indeed less accurate but keeps u a moving target and it's hard to miss with a rate of about 600 bullets per minute.

Appleseed. i havn't read the comics, but i saw the movie. its about a couple of cops in an utopian city in the future (one of 'em's a robot). There is some swat stuff, but more mecha stuff. the movie is actually pretty mediocre(sp?).Being by Shirow, i can only guess that they are great.
btw, overall i think its a good pic, but i think his legs are too short. the look about the same lenght as the body |

There are four Appleseed books. Number three and four rocks the most. Not much mecha in those. |
